All our seaman's chests have a common detail – hand-knotted handles that are durable and practical in case you need to lift the heavy chest. Above all, they serve as a unifying design element of the whole collection. We especially learned the knotting technique used for making the handles of a seaman's chest to visually link our product to old traditional seaman's chests. All of our products are handmade to the finest quality by our highly skilled craftsmen.
